Most of our data has time associated with it. It’s important to be able to perform different operations on date objects. This post hopefully gives you an idea of the basics of dates. Assuming you have a frame that has a column called “date”. You can select on the different date components as follows.
myFrame.select(y = year(date))
The month function returns the full name of the month.
myFrame.select(m = month(date))
myFrame.select(d = day(date))
